so you're getting married soon too ji! i'm very flattered, yet extremely happy for you, knowing you're with the right person; someone whose gonna take care of you for sure. unfortunately, i'd be far away from home by then. i wish i could attend. no, i wish i could do more than that! i've always wished i could play the piano while u walk down the aisle.
part of the biggest reason i learnt the piano was to be able to play on your wedding! particularly, Nobuo Uematsu's Melodies of Life. The song that speaks 1001 emotions i couldn't express with words.

gotta start looking for a new reason why i should continue playing, now that i'm about to lose a very precious friend!
lock all the doors behind and throw away the keys into the sea,
i shouldn't stop thinking of anything else other than what's in front of me.

ReplyDeleteDear Irfan,
ReplyDeleteAwwh thank you for writing up this post. Please continue to play the piano despite not being able to play at my wedding. I think playing a musical instrument gives a person so much contentment, so don't stop! Btw, this song, Melodies of Life is in my official wedding playlist. :) Also, you won't be losing a friend at all! I'll be here through thick and thin. Anddd remember that I'm always rooting for you in all that you pursue! you're gonna be so awesome in the UK!!
